Trousseaux, often considered the best-known statement from the House of Valaya form the majority of the JJ Valaya couture collection. Each season a variety of fabrics and colours, with different techniques of surface ornamentation and adornment are experimented with, making every artistic and aesthetic design a vibrant reality.

The JJ Valaya label caters to both men and women with each piece made to emphasis on an individual’s style. The objective is not to create a garment for a wedding but a heirloom which can be passed down from generation to generation. The opulence and grandeur of royalty is interwoven into each piece.

A prominent feature of this year’s collection is the use of Swarovski textile components, which were seen once again this season across all international ramps. It is JJ’s endeavor to bring in this crystalline effulgence on to Indian ramps as well through his exquisite collection this Fall-Winter. Swarovski textile components have emerged as one of the most dramatic elements of couture worldwide, redefining fashion, reflecting opulence and reinforcing glamour. As the recently announced and first ever Swarovski brand ambassador worldwide, JJ Valaya effectively uses the medium along with various other Indian crafts to showcase a collection that combines traditional and modern elements with élan. JJ Valaya will work extensively with the company for the next 3 years to promote the versatility of Swarovski textile components on Indian couture.
